A Dutch businessman has asked An Bord Pleanála for planning permission for a controversial Tipperary windfarm, and says he is prepared to go “all the way” – including to court – to realise his plans.

Opposition for the estimated €24 million project includes local grandees such as Tory life peer Lord Magan and the golden couple of Irish horse racing, Annemarie and Aidan O’Brien.
