Dublin's RDS reports an operating surplus of €1.77 million for 2015

The society invested €4.5 million in staging the Dublin Horse Show last year

The RDS reported an operating surplus of €1.77 million last year as it generated total income of €18.4 million from venue operations and property letting.

The Ballsbridge venue said income from its venue operations rose by four per cent to €13.5 million, due to a mix of exhibitions, conferences and consumer and trade shows including the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition, Web Summit and The Ideal Homes Show.
