Dublin Pride reviews Google links over YouTube row

Dublin Pride festival director Jed Dowling will be contacting the National LGBT Federation after a board member of the group questioned Google’s suitability as a 'platinum sponsor' of the event

Dublin Pride organisers have said they will consider their relationship with Google after the company was criticised for allowing homophobic harassment on its YouTube platform.

Dowling said: “Dublin LGBTQ Pride condemn all forms of hate speech and expect all groups taking part in our festival to champion the ideals of equality, dignity and respect we stand for.
