Dublin forms the base of Chubby’s golfing empire

Andrew ‘Chubby’ Chandler, the golfing super-agent who represents Masters winner Danny Willett, controls his sporting empire through a pair of Dublin-based companies, corporate records reveal.

Shareholders at the companies include the recently-deceased scion of one of Turkey’s wealthiest families, a Malaysian investment magnate. WWE wrestler and executive Shane McMahon is a former director.

Chandler’s client list includes Darren Clarke and Lee Westwood. Former Irish golfers in his stable include Rory McIlroy...
