Dublin-born Slack director says Ireland decision was no surprise

John O’Farrell, the Dublin-born general partner in legendary venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz – and director of Slack, which announced last week that it was bringing 100 new jobs to Ireland – has said he is not surprised that the company chose Dublin.

“[Ireland has] EU location, great talent, business-friendly environment, lots of fellow SF companies already there,” O’Farrell said. “The IDA did a fantastic job addressing their questions and getting them set up....
