New documents have raised further questions about why David Drumm, the chief executive of Anglo Irish Bank, had dinner with the then Minister for Finance Brian Cowen on April 24, 2008.

According to a Financial Regulator note, David Drumm, the chief executive of Anglo Irish Bank, told Patrick Neary, on April 30, 2008, that he was in social contact with Brian Cowen.
