Ex-Anglo head David Drumm wants state not to oppose bail in Ireland

David Drumm offered to return to Ireland late last year if the state agreed to not oppose an application for bail by the former chief executive of Anglo Irish Bank when he comes back.

Drumm is, according to sources, prepared to get on the “next available flight home” to answer all charges relating to his time running Anglo if he is given bail assurances.
