Drugs group 'excluded' from new prices talks

A body representing a number of the country's suppliers of prescription medicines has claimed that it is being excluded from negotiations with the government on a new medicines agreement.

"HEA members, who have put forward proposals to save the State almost €130m in its medicines budget, have yet to engage with government on the next medicines agreement which will set drug prices for the next four years," a statement from the group said.
