Delaney sues over media reports on Brazil

FAI boss taking action against national newspaper and website

FAI boss John Delaney has launched High Court defamation actions against the Examiner newspaper and the website SportsJOE.ie.

Delaney is suing both media outlets for damages over reports published following a press conference by Brazilian police briefing journalists on the arrest of Olympic Council of Ireland (OCI) president Pat Hickey last month.
