David Harney to replace Bill Kyle as Irish Life CEO

Veteran Harney has worked in Irish Life since 1986

Irish Life's managing director of its corporate business David Harney is take over as chief executive, the company has revealed.

It comes as Canadian Bill Kyle plans to retire after three years of heading up Irish Life - and 37 years with its Canadian parent Great-West Lifeco.

Kyle oversaw the merger of Irish Life with Canada Life, a subsidiary of Great-West Lifeco.
