D’Arcy outspent Late Late for guests

Average of €1,000 more spent on appearance fees for D’Arcy show

RTÉ spent more money per episode on guests for its new Saturday talk show headed by Ray D’Arcy last year than it did on The Late Late Show, new figures reveal.

The Ray D’Arcy Show, which attracted an average of 389,800 viewers in its first September to December run, cost an average of €6,471 per episode for guests’ transport, accommodation and appearance fees.
