Dublin Airport Authority has instigated measures that will allow it bypass its trade unions, should they fail to reach a collective agreement on a proposed new pension fund.
The revelation came after Siptu informed the company that it would not back a ballot of DAA workers to approve the new scheme, into which the company has promised to pay €57 million to bolster workers’ retirement funds.
