Court investment fund hits €1.53bn in 2014

The investment fund that manages money on behalf of thousands of wards of courts and minors grew to €1.53 billion last year despite a difficult year for financial markets.

The fund grew by 4.1 per cent in total in the year to the end of September, according to the Courts Service annual report, which was released last week.

The fund has faced criticism in the last year from people who claim they have seen lower payouts...
