Research from Bank of Ireland shows that economic sentiment in June was broadly unchanged from May, with consumer sentiment up slightly and business sentiment slightly weaker.
The Business Pulse, which surveyed 2,000 businesses, stood at 102.7 in June, down marginally (-0.4 points) on May. While the construction category recorded a strong pick-up of 9.6 points in June, the services and retail sectors fell back after sharp increases in May. Industry also recorded a fall.
