Conlon faces next three months in Swiss jail

The Zurich prosecutor’s office said it had applied to the courts to detain Conlon for longer while it carried out its work

The Swiss authorities have permission to detain Peter Conlon, the founder of the Ammado charity platform, for a further three months while an investigation into missing funds continues.

The Zurich prosecutor’s office said it had applied to the courts to detain Conlon for longer while it carried out its work. This was a normal move under Swiss law when there was a substantial investigation of a big case being carried out, its spokeswoman said....
