Comers salvage Galway United investment after Saudi deal fails

The Comer developer brothers are putting millions into Galway United Football Club after investment from a Saudi Arabian source fell through.

Wealthy Galway brothers Luke and Brian Comer plan to put a €20 million investment into a centre of excellence for soccer, a youth academy, pitches and player facilities and 30-40 apartments for young players, and have acquired a site from the GAA outside the city to build this vision.
