Planners overseeing the rejuvenation of the old Clerys site on O’Connell Street in central Dublin have been busy preparing for its makeover.

Last year, the project got some much needed momentum when it was announced that a group linked to Paddy McKillen jr would lead plans to redevelop the old department store into a mix of office and retail units, with a 176-bedroom hotel planned as well.
