Philip Lane has attended this weekend’s Jackson Hole meeting of the world’s top central bank chiefs, his first as the governor of the Central Bank.

The governor did not engage in any public speeches at the event, it is understood. His predecessor Patrick Honohan was a regular attendee at the gathering in the US state of Wyoming.
