Cabinet could approve sale of Aer Lingus today

The sale of the state’s 25 per cent stake in Aer Lingus could be approved by the Cabinet this morning, according to reports.

It is believed that the Government has won significant concessions from IAG, which would pave the way for a sale. The reports in today’s Irish Times and Irish Independent claim that Minister for Transport Paschal Donohue received a report from an expert group which is strongly supportive of IAG’s offer....
