Brooklyn nominated for six Baftas

The film adaptation of Colm Toibin's novel Brooklyn has been honoured with six Baftas nominations.

The movie is included in the nomination for Best British Film, while actress Saoirse Ronan is up for Best Actress.

She will compete against Alicia Vikander, Brie Larson, Cate Blanchett and Maggie Smith in the best actress category.
