David Cameron has said today there needs to be a new British Prime Minister in place by October.

Still reeling from the shock Brexit referendum result, an emotional Cameron addressed reporters at Downing Street in the last half hour.

He said: "The British people have made a very clear decision to take a different path and as such I think the country requires fresh leadership to take it in this direction.
