Boyle Sports takes a punt on British bookies chain

BoyleSports, Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker, has entered the British retail market with the acquisition of the Wilf Gilbert chain of betting shops in the Midlands region.

It will acquire the 13 shops as the first phase of aggressive ambitions to acquire 100 retail shops in that market within the next 12 months.
