Black Swan to hedge financial risks on sporting event outcomes

Betting industry veterans Rod O’Callaghan and David Lyons have co-founded Black Swan Sports, a new business which hedges financial risk related to the outcome of sporting events.

O’Callaghan previously set up the sports risk management division in Paddy Power called Airton Risk Management. Lyons worked with O’Callaghan in Airton from 2009 until they both left the business in 2017 to go out on their own.
