Belfast firm plans 400 jobs in move south of the border

Mount Charles, which offers a range of outsourcing services including catering, cleaning, and security, turns over £40 million a year and employs 2,500 staff

Northern outsourcing firm Mount Charles is to create up to 400 jobs in the Republic of Ireland over the next three years.

The company, which offers a range of outsourcing services including catering, cleaning, and security, turns over £40 million a year and employs 2,500 staff.

Of this, about 15 per cent comes from the Republic, and Mount Charles founder and chairman Trevor Annon aims to increase that.
