Bid to save Karen Millen’s Irish arm

Aurora Fashions, the international clothes retailer, is poised to write off more than €15.5 million to help save the Irish wing of Karen Millen and two associated women’s fashion retailers.

The company, which is controlled by the failed Icelandic lender Kaupthing, is also pumping in €1.5 million in new cash to fund a rescue package at the businesses.
