Labour MP's challenge to Jeremy Corbyn is confirmed

British Labour Party MP Angela Eagle says she has lodged papers with the party's general secretary to launch her challenge to Jeremy Corbyn's leadership. In comments broadcast on Sky News, she said she was "very much looking forward" to launching her campaign later today.

The party has been in turmoil as Corbyn has stood firm despite a motion of no confidence being passed against him by Labour MPs last month....
