There’s a joke doing the rounds in Donnybrook at the moment, one which is told to people passing through who ask about the village. “It’s interesting they took Ailesbury Road off the Monopoly board, and yet we see Monopoly being played out here,” says Seán Brennan, chairperson of the area’s Tidy Towns committee.
