A house divided: tensions emerge between FF and FG as Varadkar hones in on housing

Lisa Chambers was not surprised when Leo Varadkar described housing as his number one priority when he reassumed the office of Taoiseach in December.

“I smiled to myself and thought, ‘here we go’,” the Fianna Fáil leader in the Seanad told the Business Post. “Obviously, the penny has dropped with Fine Gael that housing is the key issue for the electorate.”
