70 jobs to go at Liberty Insurance

Move reflects "challenging market conditions"

Liberty Insurance is to make 70 staff redundant from the company’s commercial and back office functions in its Cavan and Dublin offices.

The company is prioritising higher-performing segments as it anticipates financial break-even this year.

Liberty is launching a 30-day consultation period with affected employees.
