300 pharma jobs in pipeline for Athlone

New facility will see up to seven companies sharing a state-of-the-art clean room

Around 300 jobs are expected for Athlone following the creation of a new pharmaceutical facility.

It will involve up to seven companies sharing a state-of-the-art clean room while also having their own premises.

It is hoped agreement will be reached within 12 months for one or more life sciences companies to be based at the strategic Monksland site in Athlone, creating more than 300 jobs.
