12th day of strike action under way at Dublin's Luas

Luas tram drivers in Dublin have begun a 12th day of

strike action, which is affecting around 90,000 commuters.

The company which operates the service, Transdev, had urged the SIPTU union to call off the strike. It has also warned drivers that it will not agree a pay deal above the 13 per cent agreement already reached with non-driver grades.
