Paddy Casey interview: ‘I got mad into locking myself away for a couple of hours’

The singer/songwriter picked up some curious creative habits during the lockdowns but the end result was his first physical release in almost a decade, the double album Turn This Ship Around

Paddy Casey doesn’t really know anybody who listens to albums these days. “A few people have told me that you just don’t put out albums any more,” he says, down the phone from his home in Kildare. “Instead, you put out singles every few months, like in the 1960s. It’s mental putting out albums, because they’ve gone the way of the dodo.”
