The BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupé has the performance and chassis ability to match its sports saloon image and €52,000 price tag

The full name of this week’s car on test is BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupé, which requires a little unpacking. The German company differentiates between its full-on M cars, such as the M2, M3, M5, and its halfway-house M performance vehicles by giving the latter longer model names – hence M235i.
