The Wendelstein 7-X has been completed after 19 years of hard graft

After 19 years of hard graft and a little over €1 billion, the Wendelstein 7-X or W7-X Fusion Reactor has been completed, and awaits the green light from German nuclear regulators to turn the key. In the next few days, mankind may be observing the first clean, stable, fusion power generator ever to exist.
