New research carried out on behalf of Liberty Insurance by Millward Brown has revealed how much time we spend on our gadgets each day and their proliferation into our daily lives.
The figures show almost universal ownership of smartphones (81 per cent) and laptops (79 per cent), while 59 per cent of people have lost or damaged smartphones.
