Star-backed Sportdec seeks to raise €3 million

Firm's investors include former snooker world champions Ken Doherty and Stephen Hendry

Irish sports technology start-up Sportdec expects to raise between €2 million and €3 million in funding over the next three months as it looks to expand revenue sources beyond betting.

The firm, whose investors include former snooker world champions Ken Doherty and Stephen Hendry, along with retired rugby international Reggie Corrigan and golfer Gary Murphy, is based in Sandyford, Dublin.
