Online consumer spend is set to double, says report

Virgin Media’s digital insights report expects online spending in Ireland to nearly double over the next five years, to €14.1 billion.

The report found that the digital economy now accounts for around 6 per cent of Ireland’s GDP, with 94 per cent of Irish internet users shopping online.
