There can be only one subject to discuss in this month’s missive. The horrors of Manchester last month showed the worst of humanity but, unfortunate as the circumstances were, highlighted that the overwhelming majority of us want to do good when faced with the detritus that would wish harm.

Twitter, Facebook, and so many social outlets proved crucial in finding safe harbours for those directly affected by the bombing.
