Last year, Google brought the Pixel 3 to market. It was far superior to the nice but not amazing devices that had preceded it. This was different. The only phones on the market - especially when it came to cameras - that surpassed it were from Huawei. Google had finally arrived after a longer than you think and terribly dull history in the handset market.
