Firms want better insights into the customer journey

Data analytics was high on the agenda for a bunch of firms in attendance at Dreamforce, Salesforce’s annual get together in San Francisco last month.

The event, which had 170,000 attendees, brought together customers and partners from the CRM giant in the tech hub. Dan Balmer, director of global marketing at Aston Martin, told Connected that firms like his need to have a better insight into the customer journey, particular with missed opportunities.
