As the promised rollout of the National Broadband Plan to homes and businesses all over the country continues to stall, it’s undoubtedly an interesting time for business broadband providers across Ireland. Fibre optic cables providing high-speed 1GB broadband are due to begin widescale construction in June of this year by Siro, a joint venture by ESB and Vodafone, who have been contracted to provide the broadband by Minister for Communications Denis Naughten.
