Print service providers explain how they avoid the race to the bottom on price with offerings that can significantly improve a customer’s document management capabilities. Ian Campbell reports

By paying just a few cent per printed page, it’s possible for an organisation to outsource its entire print and document estate to a service provider who will equip an office with multifunction devices (MFD) and fulfil one of the most rudimentary requirements of the workplace. They take away the management headache of dealing with helpdesk calls, keeping machines up and running, and maintaining stock levels of cartridges and paper.
