Accidents bring death toll to three in the last 48 hours
Two men have been killed in separate road crashes in Cavan and Carlow.
In Cavan an 18-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving collided with a truck and another car at Kilcogy at around 7.30am.
It came after a 29-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on the Carlow to Castledermot road at around 7.20pm last night.
