Ahead of the start of the

Euro 2016 football championships this weekend, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has launched a new smartphone app to help Irish people travelling abroad.

TravelWise is aimed at keeping Irish people safe and informed while travelling, according to Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan. It has travel advice and consular information for 200 countries.
