Tougher cigarette pack rules come into force
Menthol cigarettes and packs of ten to be banned
The European Commission has announced major changes in
the rules governing the sale of tobacco products, including the end of packets of ten cigarettes.
Health Minister Simon Harris, who has signed the new Tobacco Products Directive into Irish law, has welcomed the measures.
