Mortgage arrears figures fall again - Central Bank
Repossessions in buy-to-let sector hit a new high
A report from the Central Bank shows that the number of people in mortgage arrears continued to fall in the first three months of this year, marking the 11th consecutive quarter in which the figure has fallen.
The bank says that by the end of March, 85,989 owner-occupiers were behind with mortgage payments, down 2.5 per cent from the figure recorded at the end of 2015. This still means 11 per cent of owner-occupier mortgage...
