The first Allsop auction of the year saw a number of multi-unit residential lots and keenly priced commercial lots sell during and after auction last Thursday.

The more valuable of these was a group of 24 apartments at Shannon Weir, Deerpark Road, Athlone, Co Westmeath which sold for €1.35 million or within its guide bracket of €1.3 to €1.4 million. Ranging from one bedroom to three bedroom duplexes, and in size from 48 square metres...
