Internet use by Irish households continues to grow

The Central Statistics Office today published the latest statistics on the information society, covering internet use by both households and enterprises in Ireland during 2016. If found that 87 per cent of Irish households now have access to the internet at home while use of social media by Irish enterprises was second highest in the European Union in 2016.
