FBD Property applies for €5.5 million development of Castleknock hotel

The planned expansion would create up to 100 jobs during construction and 20 full-time positions on completion

FBD Property & Leisure owns three hotels in Ireland and two resorts in Spain

FBD Property and Leisure has applied for planning permission for a €5.5 million development of the four-star Castleknock Hotel and Country Club in Dublin.

The planned expansion, which would create up to 100 jobs during construction and 20 full-time positions on completion, will add 46 rooms to the hotel, bringing the total number of bedrooms to 190. It also involves the addition of a new aerobics suite and five new treatment rooms at the day spa and leisure centre.
