Don’t expect hurricane threat to blow over

Lorenzo might have been a storm in a teacup but climate change is making Ireland more vulnerable to severe storms

The impact of Storm Lorenzo was fortunately far less destructive than had been expected. In the end it was no worse than a normal big winter storm, although this was no consolation to those who were worst affected.
